This time, the decision feels even more personal.

As a self-employed founder, I depend entirely on my health. Without health, there is no focus, no progress, no business. And this year, I was fortunate: I stayed healthy.

But I also know very well that many people — especially children — cannot say the same. Illness hits families without warning. Without blame. Without preparation.

That thought stayed with me.

And I wanted to be sure the support truly matters.

So I visited the organization personally:
Deutsche Leukämie-Forschungs-Hilfe – Aktion für krebskranke Kinder – Ortsverband Mannheim e.V.

I met with Almuth Ender, the head of the local office, who showed me how they work, how they support families, and how every donation directly helps children who are fighting something they never chose.

Standing there, listening, seeing the impact first-hand — it made this decision feel even more right.

I’m sharing a photo from that visit below, because this is not just a donation.
It’s gratitude.
It’s perspective.
And it’s a reminder that even small contributions can make a very real difference.
